Grok-style conversation
Grok Chat Mockup Maker
The sample asks for five group chat names and gets a short, dry list back. Keep that tone or change it: you type the prompt, the reply and the model label, then save a still or a recording of the answer typing out.
Updated

How to make it
- Open the Grok template in the web editor or the Mimicly iPhone app.
- Replace the sample names, photos and text with your own.
- Adjust times, counts and appearance until the preview looks right.
- Export a PNG or JPG, or press Record to save the conversation as an MP4 (desktop Chrome or Edge on the web, or the iPhone app).

Questions
Can I make the reply sound casual?
Yes. The reply is whatever you type. Many people use the Grok-style template for short, informal answers, but nothing about the wording is fixed.
Can I turn it into a video?
Yes. Press Preview to watch the messages appear one by one, then Record to save the conversation as an MP4. On the web, recording works in desktop Chrome or Edge; on a phone, use the Mimicly iPhone app. Use image export when you only need a still frame.
Is this template free?
You can open, edit and export it without paying or signing in. Exports without Pro carry a small “Made with Mimicly” watermark. Sign in for three clean exports shared across images and recordings, or choose Pro (monthly or a one-time lifetime purchase) for watermark-free exports, higher resolution and share links.
Is Mimicly connected to Grok?
No. Mimicly is an independent editor. It does not sign in to Grok, send messages or read your account. Everything in the scene is written by you; use it for fictional scenes, examples and storyboards.
