Perplexity-style answer

Perplexity Answer Mockup Maker

Perplexity-style answers put a row of sources above the text. Here you choose those sources yourself, each with a title and a domain, then write the question and the answer. It suits lessons about checking where an answer comes from.

How to make it

  1. Open the Perplexity template in the web editor or the Mimicly iPhone app.
  2. Replace the sample names, photos and text with your own.
  3. Adjust times, counts and appearance until the preview looks right.
  4. Export a PNG or JPG, or press Record to save the conversation as an MP4 (desktop Chrome or Edge on the web, or the iPhone app).

Questions

Do the source chips link anywhere?

No. They are part of the image or video. Use titles and domains that fit the point you are making, and say in your lesson that the answer is an example.

Can I turn it into a video?

Yes. Press Preview to watch the messages appear one by one, then Record to save the conversation as an MP4. On the web, recording works in desktop Chrome or Edge; on a phone, use the Mimicly iPhone app. Use image export when you only need a still frame.

Is this template free?

Yes. It is part of the free collection, and anyone can open, edit and export it without an account. Exports without Pro carry a small “Made with Mimicly” watermark. Sign in for three clean exports shared across images and recordings, or choose Pro (monthly or a one-time lifetime purchase) for watermark-free exports, higher resolution and share links.

Is Mimicly connected to Perplexity?

No. Mimicly is an independent editor. It does not sign in to Perplexity, send messages or read your account. Everything in the scene is written by you; use it for fictional scenes, examples and storyboards.
