How is this different from the Reddit comment template?

This one shows a private chat between two accounts. The comment template shows a public thread with votes and nested replies.

Can I turn it into a video?

Yes. Press Preview to watch the messages appear one by one, then Record to save the conversation as an MP4. On the web, recording works in desktop Chrome or Edge; on a phone, use the Mimicly iPhone app. Use image export when you only need a still frame.
